Full Ship Charter Ocean Services

DFSOS can charter a wide range of vessels to meet specific customers’ needs. Our expertise encompasses all types of equipment including container ships, RORO vessels, ultra-geared, LPG and bulk ships.

Full Container Load (FCL)

DFSOS can coordinate a variety of schedules and routing options for FCL cargo. Whether shipping a 20’, 40’, 40’HC, 45’HC, flat rack, open top, or reefer container, FCL services generally deliver a more secure and expedited service. Due to the availability of equipment, sailing frequency, and our competitive pricing contracts, this service presents the most bang for the buck. Should the purchase of a container be desired, we can also arrange the procurement, inspection, certification and transport of purchased equipment to the designated site.

Non-Containerized Load (NCL) / Break-bulk (BB)

NCL / BB is the ideal choice for any static or out of gauge cargo loads. These unique shipments require specialized equipment and DFS Ocean Services demonstrates a distinctive ability to meet and handle these specific needs. From aircraft to industrial machinery, wind turbines to oversized piping, DFSOS can accommodate the movement of all sizes and shapes.

Roll on, Roll off (RoRo) / High Heavy (HH)

When options are limited, necessity is the mother of invention and RoRo may be the answer. This service describes a competence which allows for vehicles to be driven on at origin and off at destination, which in most cases, is a more economical option then FCL or BB. Whether moving a single car, a fleet of 500 cars, a 50-ton dump truck, marine equipment, or a 100-ton mobile crane, DFS Ocean Services will provide the best solution.

Less-than-Container Load (LCL)

LCL is the most common option for smaller shipments. By employing economies of scale and standard connections from port to port, LCL provides for dependable performance with lower supply chain costs.
